IPcelerate's Application Discovery Workshop

IPcelerate's Application Discovery Workshop (ADW) is an opportunity for you to develop an in-depth understanding of how your IP Telephony system can positively impact your most critical business initiatives. Our experienced team of consultants will work with your management team to develop a solution that matches your needs and exceeds your expectations.

The ADW is a three-step process:

Phase 1 (Discovery):

Our consultants will spend 3 to 4 days on-site, understanding your business and evaluating how IP technology can be utilized to drive results. No salespeople will be present during the discovery process – this is not a sales activity. Interviews will generally fall into three categories:

  • Management / Executive: Discussions will revolve around key business initiatives and strategic imperatives. Very little time will be spent specifically on technology – the goal of the conversation is to understand ‘pain points’ in the business, as well as to identify and prioritize ‘what truly matters’ to company leaders. We believe that your IP telephony installation isn’t something that ‘truly matters’ to company leadership – but the effects of it can generate dramatic results.
  • Line Employee: The objective of line-employee interviews is to understand how technology affects their day-to-day operations, as well as identify where their daily work is burdensome due to information processing requirements. Most dramatic productivity increases achieved through ADW-generated solutions have come from line-employee interviews – nobody knows the company better than the workers.
  • Technical Administrator: Interviews with technical administrators will revolve around the hardware, software, and network topology currently in use – this is to ensure that any suggested solutions can easily integrate and interface with existing systems.

Phase 2 (Codification):

After the interviews, our consulting team will combine their understanding of your business priorities with their knowledge of available and emerging technologies to develop a suggested solution. The suggested solution will include “Monday morning” action items, as well as a longer-term integration and rollout plan. It will explain how to best leverage existing technology, as well as how to convert to new technology, where required. The codification process will take 3-4 weeks.

Phase 3 (Delivery):

Our consulting team will come back on-site to deliver their findings to your management team. Findings will consist of a summary of the engagement and recommended action items, as well as a detailed execution and implementation plan. At no time will any specific products be mentioned or recommended. The ADW is designed to provide you with an impactful and actionable solution, not a product push. At the conclusion of the ADW, our Sales Director will reengage with your management team to explain how IPcelerate's solutions can help meet the action items in the ADW, but there is no obligation to purchase.

The ADW is a low-risk way to ensure that you are maximizing the potential return from your IP investment. The entire process takes less than one month, and requires less than a week of involvement from your management team.
