Subway Franchise Deploys VoIP Applications to Impact Business Processes
May 08, 2006
IPcelerate, Inc., a provider of advanced communications-based software applications, announced today the development of business-impacting VoIP applications for a series of Arizona-based Subway Sandwich stores. IPcelerate's Application Consulting Group will deploy a series of VoIP business solutions onto a converged network to assist with significant business processes.
Franchise owner Les White engaged in an IPcelerate Application Discovery Workshop and is working directly with IPcelerate to identify important business gaps in daily operations. "I am responsible for 30 plus stores and am constantly working to manage all the business process issues that impact profit," White stated. "IPcelerate's solutions are going to streamline many of these processes, making it easier on my management team to focus on our customers and our bottom line."
"Les White focused on how VoIP applications could impact his business in measurable ways -- from helping staff his stores more efficiently, to creating a safer environment for his employees and customers," said John Moore, Director of IPcelerate's Application Consulting Group. As a result, White is internet-enabling his stores, with IPcelerate applications designed to impact the following initiatives:
- Time Card and Shift Management
- The Daily Deposit
- Store Emergency Awareness
- Customer Order Improvement
- Daily Store Tasks Awareness
- Employee Recognition
- Employee Safety
With the business initiatives for these stores clearly defined, IPcelerate is developing applications specific to those business initiatives. White is deploying Cisco 7970 IP Phones with IPcelerate VoIP applications integrated into his time & labor, security, and inventory systems. "I never imagined a phone would have such an impact on my business," said White.
The development and deployment of the IPcelerate VoIP application solution will be delivered in 3 phases spanning about 6-9 months. Phase 1 is targeted to be fully deployed in Q1 2006.
